G'day, I'm Paul Pritchett.
I've worked across the construction industry for over 35 years — from the tools and supervision through to Tier 1, 2 and 3 project management, development and business operations.
After decades on construction sites, I saw the same issues over and over: damage, failed temporary protection, mess, waste and builders carrying the pressure at handover. I believed there had to be a better way.
That's why I started Hunter Protective Coatings — to bring a proven, peelable surface protection system to Newcastle, Port Stephens and the Hunter region.

Why I Started This Business
I saw the same problems on sites over and over — damage, waste, mess and protection systems that didn't perform. I believed there had to be a cleaner, smarter way.

Why The Hunter
After living in the Bay for over 20 years, I wanted to bring this proven protection system to Newcastle, Port Stephens and the Hunter region — our builders deserve a better solution.
