Peelable surface protection is a temporary protective coating applied to high-value surfaces during construction. It shields glass, stone, joinery, floors and metalwork from damage by trades, tools and overspray — then peels off cleanly at handover leaving the surface in its original condition.

Protection is typically applied immediately after installation of high-value surfaces — windows and glazing at lock-up, floors and stone before trades come in, joinery and benchtops once fitted. It stays in place through the trades and finishing phase and is peeled cleanly at PC handover.

Will the protection damage the surface when removed?

Accepted Answer

No. Peelable protection systems are designed to be removed cleanly with no residue, no adhesive transfer and no surface damage when applied to manufacturer specification.
